Procedure to Get CPT Admit Card
Candidates
who want to download CA CPT Hall Ticket are required to visit on ICAI Official
website that is icai.nic.in
- Now you need to hit on “Login/ Register” tab which is given at the menu bar.
- Enter your ID & Password and then press on “Login” button. If you are new user then you have to register them by hitting “Register Now” link.

- To download your exam hall ticket, candidates will have to enter “Registration Number” and “Personal Identification Number (PIN)”
- On next screen it will show a message like “You have the option of downloading the Admit Card maximum 3 times” with the option of “Continue”. Appliers are required to hit at this button.
- By hitting “Continue” button your Common Proficiency Test Hall Ticket will be displayed in front of you. Contenders are advised to download it or save it.
- At last applicants have to take the print out of CPT Admit Card and bring it at the time of exam otherwise you will not be allowed to seat in the examination hall.
- After getting your CPT Admit Card you need to verify your name, registration number, centre, medium, etc.
CA CPT Exam Pattern
Before
appearing in exam get details about your exam; the questions will be asked from
Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative
Aptitude and the exam is consists of Total 200 marks.
The Exam is
divided in four section that is A- namely Fundamentals of Accounting (60
Questions), B- Mercantile Laws (40 questions), C- General Economics (50
questions), Quantitative Aptitude and D, (50 questions) Afternoon Session, CA
Exam will be held in two session’s i.e.
- Section A & B is in First Session (i.e. Morning Session) 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
- Section C & D is in Second Session (i.e. Afternoon Session) 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)

About ICAI
Every year
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts the examination twice in a
