Facts to know about NTSE Exam

The National Council of Educational Research and Training conducts National Talent Search Examination every year for all the Class 10th passed students. It is a national-level scholarship test.
The exam is conducted in two phases where the phase I comprises the written exam to be conducted by States (state level) and Union Territories and phase II to be conducted by NCERT. The Test is objective type exam of MAT (Mental Ability Test - Phase I) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test - Phase II) which is based on paper-pencil pattern in both the phases.

Purpose of the Exam:

The purpose of exam is to give the opportunity to the candidates, who want to make their career in banking sector. Contenders who clear the exam may also have to clear the further rounds for the recruitment process.
