Eligibility Criteria

For PhD course; Candidates who wish to get admitted into PhD course must have possessed Master’s degree from a well known university or institute under 10+2+3+2 patterns. Contenders must have qualified above stated examination with 55% marks or more.

Pondicherry University Fees Structure

General and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee whereas reserved category individuals such as SC/ST are required to submit Rs. 125/-. However, NRI and Overseas aspirants need to remit Rs. 1,000.

Payment of application fee can be made using online as well as offline mode. Contenders paying fee via online mode can us e-Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking and Challan for offline payment.

Examination Pattern

Entrance Examination will be conduct in online mode. Question paper of Entrance Exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions having four alternatives of each. Time duration will be 2 hours and question paper will be of 400 marks. There will be no negative marking for wrong attempt. For correct answer, 04 marks will be rewarded.
