Air Force
Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted to get admission in academies
related to Air Force such as:
- Technical Branch
- Flying Branch
- Ground Duty
To crack this
exam, candidates must have study according to updated syllabus and exam
pattern. With the help of Exam pattern, applicants can understand the proper
format of exam and syllabus helps contenders in the better preparation of the
test.
Subjects will
be General knowledge/ English/ Mathematics & Reasoning and total Number of
Questions are 100 of 300 Total Marks.
Time Duration for this exam is 45 Minutes for EKT (Only for Ground Duty
(Technical Branch) and 2 Hours for AFCAT Exam.
AFCAT exam duration is
of 2 hours and it is held separately for males and females. For EKT
Exam the total time duration is 45 minutes, For every wrong answer 01 mark
would be deducted from the total and there’s no negative marking for
the questions left unanswered.

Air Force Common Admission Test Exam Analysis
Candidates
can check the exam analysis from this section which is created by analyzing the
previous year papers but it is only indicative information it is not sure that
the questions will be asked as per this analysis; it could be changed with time
by the exam conducting organization.
Air Force
Common Admission Test Exam will be having Subjects; General knowledge (Number
of Questions will be 20-22), English (20-25 questions), Mathematics (total
number of questions will be 15-20) & in Reasoning section there will be
38-40 questions.
Candidates
should prepare for each section appropriately as each section has its own
importance and help you in scoring marks. Candidates should prepare for their
weak sections first and then go for the next section.
Selection Process
Candidates
who have applied for Ground Duty (Technical) Branch they have to participate in
Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). After AFCAT/EKT, qualified candidates will
have to go through the following stages:
Stage-I: This stage consists of Intelligence Test and other tests. Stage-I
test is a screening test that include the document verification and other
eligibility testing. This Stage is conducted on one day.
Stage-II: This stage consists of Psychological Tests, Group Tests and Interview.
This stage tests will held on consequent days (Five Days).
For Flying
Branch: Candidates who have applied for flying branch and qualified the AFCAT
Exam they have to go through the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
CPSS is once in a lifetime test.
