LIC AAO Exam Pattern Details

LIC Assistant Administrative Officer Exam Pattern Details:

The exam is of Objective type i. e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions. And sections will be Reasoning & Numerical Ability Test/ General Knowledge Test, Current Affairs Test/Computer Knowledge Test/English Language Test with Special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension.

Duration of the exam is 2 Hours i. e 120 Minutes and the exam consists of 160 questions asked only various subjects. The exam is conducted for a total of 300 Marks but the English Language Test is of qualifying nature. The English Language test will not be counted for Ranking and there will be sectional cut off along with overall cut off. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 % for every wrong answer.

(Only for Chartered Accountant Posts): Questions will be asked from the basics of this course. Note- There will also be a descriptive paper of English covering Test of essay, Précis and Comprehension in English. The LIC AAO post mainly involves more of directorial work more than roles involving face-to-face interactions with customers.
