Candidates

Post Graduate Course

admission for Post Graduate Course of Indira Gandhi National Open University,

For New Users
- Candidates who want to take admission in the Indira Gandhi National Open University are required to visit to the official website of the university that is onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in.
- On the home page, aspirants should move their cursor towards “Applicant Login” section and hit “Register Yourself” tab given in front of “New User” option.
- This will take you student registration form after a few seconds.
- Fill the application form with required details carefully in correct manner.
- After that, recheck your filled details and hit on “Submit” Button.
- Now, aspirants must note down their user name and password and follow the further steps of existing user.
For Existing Users
- First of all, applicants should log on to the official website of university that is onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in.
- As you reach on the home page, you need to follow the “Applicant Login” section and press on “Login” tab presented in front of “Existing User” option.
- A new page will open on your screen as shown in image.
- Thereafter fill the required details such as user name, password and image text in the relevant text boxes
- After filing all the details you need to press the “Login” button.
- Thereafter fill the online application form with essential details like as personal details, programme details, qualification details, course details, and correspondence details etc.
- Now, individual must make their payment via debit/ credit card and Net banking.
- Upload self attested copies of Scanned Photograph, signature and relevant documents in support of age, Educational Qualification, Category etc which is mentioned below.
- For the submission of the application form, you need to press the “Submit” button.
- Finally, take out the hard copy of the submitted application form.
What If Forgot Your User Name Or Password?
- The primary steps is to press on “Login” button and if you forgot any details then hit on “Forgot User Name” or “Forgot Password” tab as per your requirement.
- Within the few seconds, new page will open on your screen.
- Then applicants need to enter the required details in the relevant text boxes and press on “Search” button.
- Your user name or password will be visible to you.
- Now use your information and login to proceed for further process and must check your Application Status.
- After filling the online application form and payment of required fee candidates must know their application status.
- To know the status, candidates must have to press on “Know Status” tab given in the menu bar of home page.
- Then aspirants should enter the “Control Number” in the given text box and then press on “Submit” button.
- The online application will generate on your screen.
